With reference to your letter of the 14th. ultimo and subsequent correspondence, I have the honour to inform you that I am advised that, by reason of the restrictions imposed by the Crown Solicitor's Ordinance No. 40 of 1911, the Crown Solicitor is at present unable to undertake Admiralty work. This Ordinance is, however, under reference to the Secretary of State for the Colonies and if and when it is amended so as to admit of Admiralty work being done by the Crow Solicitor I shall be glad to reopen the question.
